CinciEvents Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 4, 2026

CinciEvents suggests free and low-cost events in Cincinnati that fit the open time in your calendar. This policy explains what the app collects and what it does not.

Your calendar

With your permission, the app reads the calendars on your phone to work out when you are busy. Only busy blocks leave your phone: a start time, an end time, and whether you are busy. We never upload, log, or store the titles, locations, attendees, or notes of your calendar events.

What we collect

How we use it

To find open windows in your day, choose events that fit them, send you notifications, and improve which events we suggest. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who processes it

We use Supabase to store app data and Expo's push notification service to deliver notifications. They process data only to provide those services to us.

Retention and deletion

You can delete your data at any time by emailing us at the address below; we will remove your busy blocks, preferences, push token, and activity. Uninstalling the app stops further calendar reads and notifications.

Children

CinciEvents is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above.
